How does Lobstr.io collect emails from Sales Navigator profiles?
The Lobstr.io email discovery service finds professional and verified email addresses from any LinkedIn Sales Navigator profile.
It uses the information you scrape from LinkedIn.
When you download your dataset, you will find a dedicated email column:
All the emails are server verified.
It means that we have sent an email to the email we propose to you.
And it has been successfully received by the recipient.
You can use it with absolute peace of mind.
How much does it cost?
Lobstr.io email credits are offered with monthly/yearly subscriptions.
- 24 verified emails for free
- 2400+ verified emails for 50 EUR
- 19000+ verified emails credits for 250 EUR
- 49000+ verified emails credits for 500 EUR
Feel free to check our Pricing Page to get more information:
What happens if no email is found??
No email, no credits lost.
Email enrichment credits are consumed only when an email is successfully found and validated.
The percentage of emails found depends on the type of enterprise the profile belongs to. The success rate is:
- 80%+ for large companies and startups
- 30 to 50% for SMEs
- 2 to 5% for freelancer profiles or independent companies
If you want to find email addresses of independent or freelancers, don’t use our tool.
Can I have personal email addresses?
We do not provide personal email addresses.
These email addresses are not GDPR compliant.
Indeed, to send email to a personal email address, you need their explicit consent.
Feel free to check the French CNIL article for more information:
How to use it?
Once you have created a squid, in Settings, switch Email Enrichment toggle to on.
Email will be automatically discovered during data scraping:
For now, the Lobstr.io email discovery service is only available with our powerful Sales Navigator Leads Scraper.
How does it work?
Last question you may ask: email is not available on neither Linkedin nor Sales Navigator.
What do we do to find these verified email addresses?
Well, it works in 3 steps:
- Random company addresses collection
- Pattern creation
- Reconstitution
First, we collect all company email addresses publicly available on the Internet.
We have deployed thousands of scrapers. They browse over web pages, and store email addresses.
For instance, on this page, we found the email address of Lobstr.io's founder Sasha Bouloudnine:
Second, thanks to advanced AI-based mechanisms, we identify the company pattern.
For instance, for the email address above, the pattern is: {first}.{last}@lobstr.io.
Many patterns do exist. Find the 3 most popular below:
Endly, on Linkedin or Sales Navigator, we collect the first name and last name of a person.
For instance, for Sasha Bouloudnine, co-founder at Lobstr.io, here is what we get:
- Sasha
- Bouloudnine
And we visit the company page, and we collect the company domain:
lobstr.io
We build the company nominative email address:
sasha.bouloudnine@lobstr.io
Endly, we send an e-mail to the email address.
Thus, we verify the email address is clean and deliverable.
What does the email status mean?
Every email in your dataset includes an email status column.
This status tells you how confident we are that the email address can actually receive emails. There are three possible values:
- Valid
- Risky
- Unknown
✅ Valid
The email works. Our email discovery service performed various email validation checks, and confirmed the address is real and active.
You can send your message with confidence.
⚠️ Risky
The email is valid, but we can’t be 100% sure it will be able to receive emails.
This happens with catch-all domains (that accept any email), role emails (like info@), or servers that hide info.
It might work, but it could bounce or go unread.
❓ Unknown
Our email discovery service tried to check the email, but the server didn’t respond or gave unclear results. We don’t know if the address works or not.
This might happen if the mail server did not respond in time, temporarily blocked our request, or had technical issues during the check.
Will already enriched contacts be enriched again?
No. If a contact has already been enriched inside your squid, Lobstr will not enrich it again.
This helps you avoid using extra email credits for the same contacts.
Let’s take an example:
You create a squid with email enrichment turned on and scrape 100 leads from Sales Navigator. Lobstr enriches 40 of them with verified emails.
If you run the same squid again later, Lobstr will skip those 40 and only try to enrich any new leads it finds.
If you want to enrich the same contacts again, simply create a new squid.
A new squid always scrapes fresh data and enriches all profiles again, even if they were scraped before. That means new credits will be used.
Also, if you scraped a squid before with email enrichment turned OFF, and now turn it ON, the scraper will go back and enrich the contacts it already scraped.
Does it work everywhere?
Our email enrichment service does work for all profiles from all countries worldwide.
