# How Lobstr.io collects emails from YouTube channels?

One of the most common questions we get is:
" __Why didn’t I find any emails after using the YouTube Channel Email Scraper?__"

Our scraper checks the __About page__ of a YouTube channel and **scans the description find an email address**.

And that’s where the confusion starts.

### Why Didn’t You Find an Email?

**Some YouTube channels don’t put their email in the description**.

Instead, they hide it under the `View Email Address` button in the Channel Details section.

🚫 The problem? **That email is locked behind a login wall**. You must be logged in to see it.

But we can add `sync_account` just like Facebook, X, and Sales Navigator to collect these hidden emails right?

Well no, it's not that straightforward. We actually tried this but there's a problem.

Even if you log in, **YouTube only lets you view only 10 emails per day per Google account.**

⚠️ That means **if you want to collect 1000 emails in a single day, you'll need 100 Google accounts**.

**This limit makes large-scale email collection impossible.**

And because of these restrictions, our scraper doesn’t even try to grab emails from the `View Email Address` button.

We focus on public emails to keep things fast, reliable, and hassle-free.
