How to Reset Your Billing Cycle on Lobstr.io?

Running low on credits?

Here's how to reset your billing cycle and get a fresh set of credits instantly.

How to reset my billing cycle

If you've burned through your monthly credits before your billing cycle ends, you don't have to wait it out or upgrade to a higher plan. You can reset your billing cycle and get a fresh allocation of credits right away.

When you've used 80% or more of your monthly credits, a notification banner will appear in your Lobstr.io dashboard.

  1. Click the Reset Billing Cycle button in the banner.
  2. Confirm the reset.
  3. You'll be charged for your current plan again, and your credits will be renewed instantly.

That's it. No plan change needed... you stay on the same tier, just with a fresh set of credits.

What happens when I reset

Here's what changes when you reset your billing cycle:

  • You're charged your current plan amount again. It's the same price, same plan... just a new cycle.
  • Your credits are renewed instantly. You get the full allocation for your plan, ready to use right away.
  • Your billing date resets to the day you triggered the reset. This means your next renewal will be one month from that day, not from your original billing date.

For example, say your plan normally renews on the 5th of each month, and you reset on the 21st. Your next renewal will now happen on the 21st of the following month.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. When you reset your billing cycle, any remaining credits from the previous cycle are lost. You get a completely fresh allocation based on your plan... there's no rollover or stacking.

So if you still have 2,000 credits left and you reset, those are gone. You start clean with whatever your plan includes.

Tip: If you're consistently running out of credits before your cycle ends, it might be worth upgrading to a higher plan instead of resetting. You'll get more credits per month at a better rate. Compare plans here.
