Here's how to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Lobstr.io subscription in just a few steps.



How do I upgrade or downgrade my subscription plan?


Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are all managed from the Plans & Billing section of your Lobstr.io dashboard.


If you want to switch to a different subscription tier, just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Lobstr.io account.
  2. In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on the Upgrade plan button, located just below your credit usage counter.
  3. Select the plan you'd like to switch to.
  4. Confirm your choice, and your subscription will be updated instantly.

What happens to my billing when I upgrade?


When you upgrade your plan, the change takes effect right away. You don’t have to wait for your current billing cycle to end.


You’ll be refunded the unused portion of your current plan, and a new billing cycle will start with your new plan.


For example, If you are on a €50 plan that started on January 1st and you upgrade to a €250 plan on January 15th:


  • You’ll get a refund of the unused time on the €50 plan, which is about €25
  • Your new billing cycle for the €250 plan will start on January 15th and run until February 15th


This way, you only pay for what you use and the upgrade is smooth and automatic


How do I cancel my subscription?


If you’ve decided to stop your subscription, you can manage everything directly from the Plans & Billing section.


How to cancel


  1. Log in to your Lobstr.io account.
  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Plans & Billing.
  3. Click the Cancel subscription button located under your current plan details.
  4. Enter a reason for cancellation (it helps us improve).


Or simply click here to go to plan cancellation menu.


Your subscription will be cancelled.


Can I pause my subscription?


There’s no actual “pause” button on Lobstr.io.


But you can still take a break whenever you need to.


To do that, just downgrade to the free plan from the Plans & Billing section. You’ll still be able to use the free version of Lobstr.io during this time.

When you’re ready to come back, simply upgrade to your preferred plan again.


It’s quick, easy, and your account will be right where you left it.


What happens if I cancel mid-month?


You can cancel anytime.


If you cancel your subscription partway through the month, don’t worry— you won’t lose access right away.


You’ve already paid for the full billing cycle, so you’ll still be able to use all your credits and features until the end of that cycle.

For example, if your plan renews on the 3rd of each month and you cancel on the 18th, your subscription stays active until the 3rd of the next month.


Can I reset my subscription after using all my monthly credits?


Yes, you can reset your subscription if you’ve used up your monthly credits before your billing cycle ends.


How to reset my subscription


When you’ve used 80% or more of your monthly credits, you’ll see a notification banner in your Lobstr.io dashboard.




  1. Click the Reset Billing Cycle button in the banner
  2. Confirm the reset
  3. You’ll be recharged for the current plan, and your credits will be renewed instantly


This allows you to resubscribe to your current plan and get a fresh set of credits immediately, without needing to upgrade.


When you reset your subscription:


  • You’re charged the same plan amount again
  • Your credits are renewed instantly
  • Your billing cycle restarts from that day


That means your future renewal date will also change.


For example, if your original billing date was the 5th of each month, but you reset on the 21st, your next renewal will happen on the 21st of the following month.
