How to convert a CSV file to Excel?

Create a Google Spreadsheet

To create a new spreadsheet:

Open the Sheets home screen at sheets.google.com
Click New +. This will create and open your new spreadsheet.

Upload the CSV

To upload the CSV:

Click on File
Click on Import



Click on Upload
Click on Browse. Choose the file you want to upload.



Click on Import data. It will create a new file with all your data.

Export to Excel format

Click on File > Download > Microsoft Excel.



An Excel file is downloaded on your computer.

Double click to open with Excel.
You now have a clean, structured and reliable Excel file.
