What are the limits to avoid account bans?
Many users ask us if using our scrapers can get their accounts banned.
The short answer? No.
We’ve built in hard limits for certain scrapers and imposed usage safeguards across the board — not to slow you down, but to keep your accounts alive and scraping safely for the long haul.
These limits are mainly applied to scrapers that require account synchronization.
You can sync 4 types of accounts with Lobstr.io:
Sales Navigator
Leboncoin
X (formerly Twitter)
Facebook
Let's understand limitations on each type of account to avoid bans and suspensions.
Sales Navigator shows 100 pages of 25 profiles. Each page is considered 1 search.
With Sales Navigator, you can do 6000 searches per month i.e. 200 searches per day.
That's why our Sales Navigator Leads Scraper can only do a maximum of 200 searches per day.
This means you can collect maximum 5000 leads per day using a single Sales Navigator account.
You can safely reach 100% of this capacity without worrying about any account bans.
But if you're using the same Sales Navigator account on another tool (besides Lobstr.io), reduce the daily lead limit inside Lobstr.io to avoid hitting the cap.
You can set this limit on your Sales Navigator account from Accounts > Actions > Edit limits.
But make sure the other tool you're using also respects LinkedIn’s daily limits.
If both tools combined go over the allowed limit, your account could get banned.
To bypass this limit, you can connect and use multiple Sales Navigator accounts with Lobstr.io.

You can send up to 8 messages at a time – This is called a batch. And you can only send 1 batch every 2 hours.
After sending 1 batch (8 messages), you’ll need to wait 2 hours before starting the next one.
Daily limit is 20 messages per day. Once you hit 20, the tool will automatically pause message sending for the day.

We do recommend using 50% of your max limit for even safer data collection.
There's no hard limit on scraping X posts or profiles.
That's why you won't see any Edit limits option when you sync your X account.
However, the X platform itself enforces rate limits and may respond with a “Too Many Requests” error when it detects a high level of activity.
To prevent your account from being restricted, our system automatically pauses the scraper for 1 hour whenever this type of error is detected.
This pause helps avoid triggering platform-level blocks or temporary bans.
P.S. You don't need to sync an account to use Twitter Profiles Scraper. So this limitation doesn't apply when you're scraping profiles.
Similar to X, there's no hard limit on Facebook Pages Search Export either.
However, to keep your Facebook account safe, we add small pauses during scraping.
For example, the tool waits a few seconds between each page it collects from the search results.
This helps avoid triggering Facebook’s security systems and keeps your account safe.
But is there any limit on how many accounts you can sync or use at a time?
It's also a very common question.
The short answer is, you can sync as many accounts as you want.
We don't limit number of accounts you can sync with Lobstr.io.
