How to synchronize multiple accounts?

You wanna scrape data behind a login wall with multiple accounts — to boost your data scraping speed?

You need to sync accounts first.

In this article, we will see <span style="text-decoration:underline;">how to synchronize multiple accounts</span> on lobstr.io.

Prerequisites

Be sure that you have properly downloaded our lobstr.io public add-on.

We do use it to store your login cookies, and browse seamlessly with your account with no damage to your privacy.

Second, be sure that you know how to synchronize at least 1 account.

Step-by-step Instructions

All accounts (standard)

For most accounts (Twitter, etc.):

1. Log in to account 1.
2. Synchronize.
3. Log out from account 1.
4. Log in to account 2.
5. Synchronize.
6. Log out from account 2.

Etc.

As many times as you do need it.

LinkedIn & Leboncoin accounts

⚠️ For LinkedIn and Leboncoin, cookies expire immediately when you log out normally.

Here is how to fix it — clear your cookies instead of logging out:

1. Log in to account 1.
2. Synchronize.
3. Go to www.linkedin.com (or leboncoin.fr).
4. Clear site data (see below).
5. Log in to account 2.
6. Synchronize.
7. Repeat.

Do not log out with the normal logout button. Clear your cookies instead.

How to clear site data

1. Open the DevTools console (F12 or right-click → Inspect)
2. Go to Application tab
3. On the right, click on Storage
4. Check "including third-party cookies"
5. Click on Clear site data
